Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Link2Page collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. The Service is operated by Shay Ben Shimon ("we", "us"). Contact: contact@link2page.com.
This policy covers both Link2Page account holders (people who create and purchase landing pages) and visitors to published landing pages hosted by us.
1. Information we collect
Account information
- Email address and authentication data — collected when you sign up and managed through our authentication provider (Supabase). Passwords are stored in hashed form by that provider; we never see or store your plain-text password.
- Profile details you choose to add, such as a display name or avatar selection.
Content you create
- The product links you submit, your answers in the creation flow, the landing pages generated for you (including drafts), and any edits you make.
Purchase information
- Records of your purchases (item, price, date) and receipts we email you. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider — we do not collect or store card numbers.
Usage and analytics data (first-party)
- On link2page.com: basic visit data such as pages viewed, referrer, and browser/device information.
- On published landing pages we host: views, clicks, and on-page interaction data (including approximate click/interaction positions used to build heatmaps), plus referrer and browser/device information. This analytics data is collected by us (first-party) and shown to the page owner in their dashboard.
- With your marketing consent, we use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure our advertising (see the dedicated section below). If you do not accept marketing cookies, neither is used and no data is sent to Meta. Page owners' external product links lead to third-party sites governed by those sites' own policies.
Communications
- Messages you send us (for example, to contact@link2page.com) and transactional emails we send you (page links, receipts, account emails).
2. If you are a visitor to a published landing page
Landing pages served from our infrastructure are created by our users. When you visit one, we log the analytics described above (views, clicks, interaction positions, referrer, browser/device information) on behalf of the page owner and for the operation and security of the Service. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles. If you follow a product link on such a page, you leave our infrastructure and the destination site's terms and privacy policy apply.
3. How we use information
- To provide the Service: generate, host, and serve your pages; operate your dashboard and editor.
- To process purchases and deliver page links and receipts by email.
- To provide page owners with analytics about their published pages.
- To secure, maintain, debug, and improve the Service, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To communicate with you about your account and respond to your requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers we rely on to operate Link2Page, and only as needed:
- Supabase — authentication and database (accounts, pages, analytics data).
- Vercel — hosting and serving of the website, the backend, and published pages.
- Resend — sending transactional emails (page links, receipts, account emails).
- AI and data providers used to generate pages — when you create a page, your product link and inputs are processed by our technology providers: a web-data service retrieves publicly available product information from the link you supplied, and an AI provider (Anthropic) generates the page copy and structure from those inputs.
- Payment providers — when real payment processing is enabled, your purchase is handled by a payment provider or merchant of record, which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy.
- Meta (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — only with your marketing consent, to measure our advertising via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, as described in the section below.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Link2Page, our users, or others. If the Service is transferred (for example, in a sale of the business), information may be transferred as part of it, subject to this policy.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and browser local storage in the following categories:
- Strictly necessary — always active, because the site cannot function without them. These keep you signed in (authentication session) and remember preferences such as your light/dark theme. They are never used for advertising.
- Analytics — used only with your consent, to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it (for example, aggregate traffic measurement).
- Marketing — used only with your consent, to measure and improve advertising on third-party platforms such as Meta and Google.
When you first visit link2page.com, a consent banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or choose per category. Analytics and marketing cookies do not run until you opt in. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. Your preference is stored on your device so we can honor it on future visits.
Third-party advertising tools set their own cookies or receive data only after you consent; their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies. This policy always reflects the tools that are actually active.
Advertising measurement: Meta Pixel and Conversions API
Only if you accept marketing cookies, we use the Meta Pixel (a browser tag) and Meta's Conversions API (a server-to-server connection) to understand which of our Meta ads lead to actions on link2page.com, so we can measure and improve our advertising. If you do not accept marketing cookies, the pixel is never loaded and no event is sent to Meta by either method.
What is measured. Standard events about your activity on our own site — for example page views, completing registration, generating a landing page, starting checkout, and completing a purchase (including the purchase value and currency). These events may be accompanied by technical data such as your IP address, browser/device information, and event identifiers.
Server-side events (Conversions API). For completed purchases, we also send the purchase event from our server to improve measurement accuracy where browser events are blocked or lost. We send this server-side event only when you have given marketing consent, and we use a shared event identifier so Meta de-duplicates the browser and server events into one. Where contact information (such as your email) is used to match the event, it is hashed before transmission.
Meta as processor/controller. Meta processes this data under its own terms and may act as an independent or joint controller for its own purposes. See Meta's Privacy Policy for details. You can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer, which stops all further pixel and Conversions API activity.
6. Data retention
We keep account information and your pages for as long as your account exists. Purchase records are kept as required for accounting and legal purposes. Analytics data is kept to provide dashboard history to page owners and to operate the Service. When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymize associated personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing contact@link2page.com from your account email. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law. Note that deleting your account will take your hosted pages offline.
8. Security
We use reputable infrastructure providers and industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — please use a strong, unique password.
9. International transfers
Our service providers may store and process information on servers located in the United States and other countries. By using the Service you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence, with protections consistent with this policy.
10. Children
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version, and for material changes we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or an in-product notice).
12. Contact
